I've looked around and watched my friends and people in general around me, I think one of the most played with toys would be a mobile phone. people no longer seem to use phone for the main purpose of making calls. There was some people on the bus the other day sending each other pictures from one crowd of friends to another via bluetooth. There are some people that sit and run through thier lastest ring tones, and you see people waiting for appointments playing on games built into thier phones. So I have come to the conclusion that mobile phones have been converted into a toy with a practical purpose.

These toys are used to play with when board, used for sort attention span entertainment. The toys played with when waiting round have now been added to a lot of computer games. You can play on sort mini games whilst you wait for levels and menu's to load.

Soft toy are for comfort and play, you dont really get the comfort quallities from other toys other than soft toys. A lot of the soft toys are also themed from films.

Outdoor toy's are mostly based on sport activities. You can get the small nets for football and tacky plastic cricket sets, many types of rackets for tennis and the suction basket ball nets. You also get water pistels, and toy guns that fire foam bullets.

I used to play with model cars. The minature models are used as ornaments as a mature toy, these models can also be played with by younger ages. I used the play with Hotwheels and Micro machines, you can buy roads and minature landscapes to drive around.

I've notice looking around Woolworths and other toy distibutors that the shelfs are dominated with toy's that are themed from popular, classic and current films and programes. There are toy models of Lord of the Rings, Spiderman and many more including some of the older films like Turtles and Ghostbusters from my childhood.

My group decided to turn the game into a board game with the fish as a dice, The fish will have numbers on the bottom, You move around the board pcking up cards, the card shave questions and forefits, If you get them wrong or pick up a bad card you have to take a shot!!
