This is one of Sony's visions of the future for consoles. They believe that consoles will be a box you sit in the centre of your room and will connect your t.v to your hi-fi, computer... eventually being compatable with all periferals, like cameras, phones e.t.c

The ideal that every home entertainment source will run through one black box. Plus if there isn't enough power to store all the film, games your downloading you can connect a second unit to the side doubling the power and so on...

Phil's game is a traditional football management game. You drag the shirt icons over to where you would like the players in position. I chose to use the shirts instead of faces to keep the layout simple and neat, you also have numbers on the back of the shirts instead of names for the same reasons. There will be a key of the names and numbers of players the opposite side to the shirt icons.

Mario Kart DS

I've played on a Nintendo DS on Mario Kart DS and was very impressed, it's loads better game play than Mario Kart 64.
I espesially like the mini games, Click on the link abpove and scroll to the bottom of the page...

The Nintendo DS is not officially released untill March, I've had a play on an imported model and really enjoyed the different and potential, this consol has so many features. I think this is the main reason I've chosen to produce a game for this platform. The most catchy and original feature of this device is the full colour touch screen control Pad.
Playing on some of the existing games has opened my eyes, there is so many more ways of interacting in environments. Its evolved from the up, down, left, right arrows passed multi direction joy sticks to complete freedom of movement. It's great.

I really like the look of the PSP, i've not yet had a play with one so it would be un fair to say if the console better than the DS.
The stcreen quallity looks better. The only to thinks I've looked closely at is two of the game releases. Wipeout and Gran Turismo are two of the racing games to come out on the console, I like Gran Turismo better but have researched further into the style of Wipeout for the influence of my game.

Shot Monopoly
I've played some crazy drinking games most of which have never seen a winner or been finished. One of my favourates is Shot Monopoly, played on a normal Monopoly board and the same rules, we just added alcohol and added some more rules. If you land on a corner you drink a shot, if you pass go you have to drink a shot or you do not collect £200 and it's two shots to get out of jail. Once everyones gone round a few times and started collecting properties the game gets silly and you can buy houses for ten shots. More rule get introduced then it ends there...
